Pangborn UK recently installed another new shot blast machine, the popular Wire Mesh Belt Machine for a well renowned engineering company in Ireland.
Inishowen Engineering contacted Pangborn UK in February this year for a solution to improve productivity, help speed up blasting operations on profiles and reduce handling and labour.
Pangborn UK visited the customer in Ireland to observe operations, discuss the best possible option and machine specifications. Following the visit, our customer soon placed a purchase order for the best suited machine – which was the Wire Mesh Belt – Shot Blast Machine.
Wire Mesh Belt Machine Installation
Installation of the new Wire Mesh Belt Machine took place in late October and was fully completed by October 21st 2021. This machine addressed all issues the customer needed solved dramatically improving productivity, reducing labour and speeding up production output massively.

Improved Production Output
The new installation has increased production by approx. 70%, when compared to previous process methods that were in place which took around 2.5hrs.
Stillages processed using the new Pangborn WMB now only take approx. 22minutes, compared to 2.5hrs using previous processes.

Additional Installations
Pangborn UK also supplied our customer a Pangborn 6D 3000/500 H Roller Conveyor Blast System in January 2021, this was a used machine, fully serviced and installed, along with a full modernisation program to improve efficiency. Our customer also had various retrofit upgrades;
